Don K. Berry, Vice President Strategic Development and Planning
Don oversees the design of all transportation and logistics service programs for XGL to include network and strategic vendor development.  He authored XGL's Air Bridge Iraq that now serves as one of the company’s premier air logistics service offerings.  Mr. Berry possesses over thirty years of air logistics experience much of it gained in difficult, expeditionary operating environments.  Prior to joining XGL in January 2003, he served as Vice President Safety and Security for all-cargo Express One International Airlines. During a 30-year U.S. Air Force career he held several key airlift operations and air transportation leadership positions. A military transport pilot with experience in C-141, C-5, and C-130 aircraft he also commanded forward area air terminal operations in Northern Saudi Arabia during Desert Shield/Storm. He later directed all DoD military airlift and contract commercial scheduled passenger and cargo operations. He obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree from Rutgers University, Master of Arts Degree from Webster University, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Dallas.  Mr. Berry is a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals.

Advisory Team

Charles L. Jarvie, Chairman
Chuck leads the Advisory Board for XGL, overseeing corporate strategy while laying milestones for the company. Jarvie actively utilizes his extensive experience to guide growing companies, preparing them to capitalize on the opportunities presented through effective growth. Jarvie serves as a Partner for Beta Capital, a leading Dallas-based private equity firm. His nearly fifty-year career has included senior posts in both private equity and corporate entities. Included in his senior management duties are terms serving as the president of Fidelity Investments Marketing Company, Dr. Pepper Company, and Schenley Industries. Jarvie has served on numerous corporate and civic boards, including Rawlings Sporting Goods, Texas Commerce Bancshares, and the Greater Dallas Chamber of Commerce. Jarvie earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Business Administration degree from Cornell University.

Matt Hawkins, Finance Advisor
Matt has been affiliated with EFO Holdings, LP (“EFO”) since 2000.  EFO is a family office based in Dallas, Texas that manages in excess of $250 million in assets.  Matt’s association centers on his involvement with the management teams of certain EFO private equity investments, specifically Platinum Research Organization and The Empower Network, and formerly Nubella.  His sales, finance, operating and P&L experience makes him uniquely qualified to add value to the existing management teams.  Prior to his affiliation with EFO, Matt was with Hull and Associates, a turnaround management firm focused on maximizing asset values through court-ordered receiverships, corporate turnarounds, and debt workouts.  Subsequent to that, Matt co-founded an IT outsourcing company with an office in Mumbai, India; was with NCH Corporation; and was with a division of Eastman Kodak.  Matt graduated with a B.A. in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin.  Matt has served as a Director of Hull and Associates and is currently a director of The Empower Network.

Drew Siegel, Legal Counsel
M. Drew Siegel serves as corporate and litigation counsel of the XGL family of companies.  Mr. Siegel received a Bachelor of Arts with Honors from the University of Texas at Austin in 1977, and an MBA from SMU in 1978.  Following working for a year at the bank known then as Republic National Bank, Mr. Siegel went back to law school and earned a J.D. from SMU in 1982.  After working for two law firms and spending some time in the real estate business, Mr. Siegel has been a sole practitioner in the Dallas area since 1989.  He has a wide range of business law experience representing individuals and numerous small and mid-sized businesses, with an emphasis in contracts, litigation, arbitration, construction, aviation related law and real estate.
