A Major Health Care Provider
In a response to Hurricanes Katrina and Rita which devastated the Gulf Coast during 2005, XGL supported major healthcare providers in critical patient and staff evacuation needs, particularly for its New Orleans hospitals which were flooded following Katrina. In total, XGL completed hundreds of Med-Evac, reconnaissance and supply missions through an integrated combination of rotary and fixed-wing assets, supported by forward operating teams and the Dallas-based XGL Operations Command Center. From patient airlift off hospital rooftops to shuttles of stem cell cooling equipment, XGL worked closely with healthcare personnel throughout the operation.

XGL's Aviation Logistics Emergency Response Team (ALERT) provides clients a unique air transportation-based emergency and disaster response offering which expedites personnel removal from at-risk facilities while accelerating operational recovery following a major natural or man-made business interruption.
